FAR Chair Dr. Donna Hobbs

Dr. Donna Hobbs begins her first year as chair of the PBC FAR Council and her second year as the Faculty Athletic Representative at Augusta State University.

Dr. Hobbs began her teaching career at ASU in 1992 as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry and was elevated to Associate Professor in 1998. She began her teaching career at USC Aiken in 1985 and has also served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Roche Institute of Molecular Biology in Nutley, N.J. Dr. Hobbs received her undergraduate degree from UNC Chapel Hill and her Ph.D. in biochemistry from Vanderbilt University. Serving on over a dozen committees at Augusta State, Dr. Hobbs is an active member of Phi Kappa Phi, Sigma Xi and the American Chemical Society.
