What does it mean?
The Peach Belt Conference's new branding initiative, "The PBC is...", seeks to highlight the many amazing attributes that our institutions, student-athletes and staff embody. For that reason a word cloud was designed to incorporate these attributes in a visually stimulating manner.
But what does it mean? You may have noticed a few details about "The PBC is..." word cloud already.
First, the words in black: NCAA DIVISION II ATHLETICS. The PBC is a proud member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and Division II, and offers high-level athletics.
Next, the four words in a larger font: CHARACTER, COMMITMENT, COMMUNITY and COMPETITION. These are the four C's of the PBC. Each of these words represents a broad core value that the PBC is, and each is a different color, orange, green, light gray or slate gray.
Finally, all the other smaller words that form the word cloud are one of those four colors. As you would expect, this helps organize each of those words along with the broader core value of that same color.
So what seems like a mass of words jumbled together chaotically has in actuality been strategically organized to capture exactly what "The PBC is..."
