Pitcher of the Week: Daniel Hinchberger, Lander

Senior Daniel Hinchberger tossed a one-hit shutout against the No. 29-ranked Augusta State Jaguars to lead Lander to a 6-0 win and two of three victories against the Jaguars in the PBC series. Hinchberger had a no-hitter going into the ninth inning when the second ASU batter singled up the middle. Hinchberger struck out 11 and walked five against 28 batters faced. His ERA improved to 2.50 with 52 strikeouts in 57.2 innings pitched. Leads the PBC in opponent’s batting average and is fifth in ERA and strikeouts.
