Pitcher of the Week: Jeff Chase, Armstrong Atlantic State
Chase pitched a complete-game four-hitter in the series opener
at Lander. The senior walked three and allowed one earned run while
striking out seven to improve to 6-3 on the season. He set down the
first nine Bearcats in order and set down the side in order five
times, including the ninth inning. With that effort ,he is now
ranked 10th in the PBC in opponent batting average and
strikeouts.
