Baseball Player of the Week: Zavier Lushington, Young Harris

Lushington had a monster week, hitting .520 with four home runs and 11 RBIs.  The senior outfielder from Atlanta, Ga., was 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBIs in a doubleheader sweep of Clark Atlanta.  He then ranked two homers with five RBIs in a win over Cedarville.  He had two multi-hit games in three against UNC Pembroke in a weekend conference series, driving in two in the opener as part of an 11-6 win.  He was 2-for-5 with a stolen base and two runs scored in the second game.  For the week, Lushington had a 1.000 slugging percentage and .571 on-base percentage. He is currently second in the PBC in RBIs, fourth in batting average, tied for third in home runs and leads the conference in slugging percentage.
