Baseball Player of the Week: Connor Durden, USC Aiken

Durden set a school record and tied a PBC mark with 10 RBIs in a single game.  The senior catcher from Jacksonville, Fla., accomplished the feat in an 18-6 win over Paine, going 3-for-3 in that game with two triples and a home run.  For the week, he hit .412 in five games with three home runs and 17 RBIs.  Five of his seven hits went for extra bases.  He hit .364 in a three-game conference series against Flagler, going 2-for-4 in game two with a home run and five RBIs. Durden had a 1.176 slugging percentage, a .545 on-base percentage, scored five runs, threw out one of the two stolen base attempts and turned two double plays on the week.  He is currently second in the PBC with 50 RBIs on the year and is also second in on-base percentage, fourth in home runs and fifth in slugging.
