Four PBC Men's Basketball Teams Ranked in NCAA Region Poll

Four Peach Belt Conference men's basketball teams have been ranked in the season's first NCAA South Atlantic Region poll, which was released on Wednesday.  Augusta State, who hosted the regional tournament in 2007, returns to the top spot as the #1 team in the region.  USC Aiken is second.  GCSU is seventh in the poll while Armstrong Atlantic is ninth.

The poll indicates that were the NCAA regional tournament to begin today, the PBC would have three teams represented.  Virginia Union of the CIAA is third in the poll while Wingate of the South Atlantic Conference is fourth.
