Montevallo's Rivera, Lander's Judge Named Basketball Players of the Week
Men's Player of the Week

Rivera continued his hot start to the season as he averaged 26.5 points per game while shooting over 62 percent from the field this week in a pair of Montevallo wins. He opened with 27 points and 5 rebounds in a conference victory over PBC West Division foe Columbus State. Rivera then scored 26 points in a 77-65 win over Miles College. He scored 9 of the final 10 Falcon points in that game to help keep the Bears at bay. Rivera continues to lead the PBC in scoring averaging 24.8 points a game and now has had four-straight 25-plus point performances in a row. For the year he is shooting 52.8 percent from the field.

Women's Player of the Week
Jasmine Judge, Lander
Sr. • G • Augusta, Ga.
Judge averaged 18.5 points per game this week on her way to reaching the 1000 point plateau for her career and breaking the PBC record for three-point field goals made. She connected on 12-of-24 three-point shots in wins against #19 Tusculum and Southern Wesleyan. She became the PBC three-point record holder against Tusculum when she surpassed Meredith Legg's (USC Aiken) record of 311. Judge then increased her record by connecting on a career-high nine three pointers against Southern Wesleyan, which is one shy of the PBC single-game record. In addition she managed to average 4.0 steals in the two games as well. Judge is currently 7th inthe PBC in points per game, leads the league in three pointers made (33) and is fourth in three-point field goal percentage (.471).
