Men's Player of the Week

Ryan Aquino, Georgia College

Aquino had a monster week for the Bobcats with 25.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in two games.  He opened with a career-high 28 points and added 10 rebounds in a loss to Clayton State, then had 23 points with nine rebounds in a big win over Columbus State.  The senior added 1.5 steals per game while shooting 48% from the field and 77% and drained five three-pointers.  Aquino leads the PBC in rebounding with 10 per game and is fourth in the league in scoring.  His 13 double-doubles on the year lead the PBC and are the third-most in the nation.

Women's Player of the Week

Kayla Harris, USC Aiken

Harris took her game to the next level last week, leading the #15 Pacers to two wins, including a top-20 showdown at #17 Lander.  In the Lander game, the sophomore scored 21 points with 13 rebounds and three assists as USCA handed Lander their first conference loss.  She followed that with 13 points and five rebounds in only 22 minutes against UNC Pembroke to average 17 points, nine rebounds and three assists per game.  She shot 53% from the field at Lander and 46% for the week.  She is currently fourth in the PBC in scoring.
