Golfer of the Week: Jordan Walor, UNC Pembroke
Walor won the Honda of Columbia Fall Classic with rounds of 70 and 71 to finish one-under-par. He was the only golfer to finish under par in the event, edging out Newberry’s Matthew Campbell and Tusculum’s David Talley by one stroke. His two-round total of 141 helped UNCP to a third-place finish in the 11-team event and the Braves were the highest-finishing PBC team. The win is the sixth for the senior and his second Honda of Columbia title. He also won the event in 2009 and finished third a year ago. Walor is now second in the PBC with a 70.5 stroke average after one event.
