Georgia Southwestern's Vincent Norrman

Norrman took medalist honors at the Hurrican Invitational with a 10-under-par (!) score. The sophomore from Stockholm, Sweden, set new school records for 18- and 54-hole scoring with his rounds of 64 and 70 for a final 134 and earned his first career win.  His eight-under 64 in the opening round is the lowest round (relative to par) in the Peach Belt this season and is tied for the fifth-lowest round in league history.  He finished the event six strokes ahead of Clayton State’s Nick Woof in second place and helped the GSW team to a second-place finish in the 13-team, 76-golfer field.  Norrman now leads the PBC with a 70.57 stroke average.  He has four top-five finishes on the year and 11 of his 14 rounds have been at par or better.
