Player of the Week: Juan Rivas, Francis Marion

Rivas saved the best for last as he had two goals as FMU beat Lander 3-1 to capture the regular-season championship. The sophomore also had a pair of assists earlier in the week as FMU beat Catawba 4-2 on the road. Against Lander, Rivas scored the game-winning second goal of the game and added the third for insurance after attempting five shots, all on goal. Currently tied for fifth in the PBC in points and fourth in goals scored. Has scored five of his eight goals against conference opponents.
