
Johnson averaged a double-double as the Bearcats won two conference games. The senior center from Hopkins, S.C., put up 19 points and 12 rebounds per game while shooting 71% from the field. She scored 21 with 13 rebounds in a win at Young Harris, then had 17 points with 11 boards in a home win over Clayton State. For the week she added four assists, three blocks and three steals as Lander moves to 8-2 on the year, 3-1 in league play. Johnson’s 1,554 career points is 11th on the PBC All-Time list; she is also just outside the top 13 on the PBC’s all-time rebounding list. She is currently ranked seventh in the PBC in scoring, ninth in rebounding and third in field goal percentage.
