Women’s Basketball Player of the Week: Kierra Crane, Flagler

Women’s Basketball Player of the Week: Kierra Crane, Flagler

Crane had a monster weekend with 47 points in two games as Flagler won both games in its region crossover tournament. The Kissimmee, Florida native scored a career-high 27 points coming off the bench in a season-opening win over Lincoln Memorial on Friday. She scored 11 of Flagler's 21 points in the first half alone. Her seven 3-pointers made tied a school record. Crane followed up that performance with a 20-point effort in a rout of Limestone, again coming off the bench. She made 62.5 percent of her shots from the field and drained 3-of-5 three-pointers. Crane leads the PBC in points, points per game, and 3-pointers made, is second in field goal percentage and 3-point field goal percentage, third in field goals made and free throws made, and fourth in free throw percentage.
