Women’s Basketball Player of the Week:  Chris Wilson, Flagler

Wilson picks up her second weekly honor in the last three weeks after leading the Saints to three straight wins with 20.3 points and 10.7 rebounds per game.  The junior forward from St. Louis, Mo., shot 60.5% from the field (26-43) and 81.8% from the line.    In the opener against #22 North Georgia, she hit 9 of 11 shots (81%) and all six free throws for 24 points with 12 rebounds.  She scored 10 of Flagler’s 20 fourth-quarter points to force an overtime period as Flagler gave UNG only their second conference loss.  She had another double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds in a win over Francis Marion.  Wilson is currently second in the league in steals, third in field goals made and field goal percentage, fourth in rebounds and rebounds per game, and sixth in points and points per game.
