13 PBC Women’s Golfers Named All-American Scholars

AUGUSTA, GA – Thirteen Peach Belt Conference women's golfers have been named All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).  UNC Pembroke led the league with five players honored while Young Harris had four.  Flagler and North Georgia had two players each.

To be named a WGCA All-American Scholar, players must maintain a 3.50 GPA or higher, making the criteria among the most stringent in collegiate athletics.  1,011 golfers were named to the list from all three NCAA divisions and the NAIA.
