Defender of the Week: Morgan Cobb, GCSU

Cobb anchored a defense that held Belmont Abbey scoreless for 110 minutes in their only game so far this season. Celene Molera was named the Conference Carolinas player of the week for her two goals in a win over Clayton State two days after facing GCSU, but did not get off so much as a shot when marked by Cobb. In fact, the Lady Bobcat defense and Cobb allowed only two shots on goal the entire game, and none in the two overtime periods.
