Defender of the Week: Morgan Cobb, GCSU
Cobb led the Bobcat defense to a win and a tie as they captured
the fourth seed and a first-round home game. She helped hold USC
Aiken to one shot in overtime as GCSU took a 2-1 win over the
Pacers, then played all 110 minutes, holding Montevallo's Natalie
Martineau to two shots as GCSU forced a 1-1 tie. Montevallo got off
only one shot in the two overtimes combined. The GCSU defense is
currently second in the PBC in goals allowed average.
