ITA Recognizes Women’s Tennis Players
SKILLMAN, NJ – The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) honored the accomplishments of PBC women’s tennis players following a very successful 2010-11 season. Nine PBC players were named ITA All-Americans with another five named to the ITA regional awards including Armstong Atlantic State’s Barbora Krtickova, who was named the National Rookie of the Year.
Krtickova finished the year ranked No. 11 nationally in singles and No. 1 in doubles for Armstrong. The Nove Mesto Nad Metuji, Czech Republic, native was an outstanding 33-5 overall in singles and 47-6 overall in doubles this season.
