Women’s Tennis Player of the Week: Noa Davico, Columbus State

Davico went a combined 6-0 in singles and doubles as the Cougars won three times, including their first two conference matches.  The freshman from Crozet, France, beat Anderson’s Jacqueline Olivia 6-1, 6-2 at #2 singles to start the week.  She then moved up to #1 singles and beat Lander’s Eduarda Ferreira 6-3, 6-0 and Young Harris’ Elin Rundcrantz 6-0, 6-0. In doubles, she teamed with Beatriz Lopez at #1 doubles to beat Dean/Olivia of Anderson 8-3, Lander’s Schulz/Wiggins 8-1 and YHC’s Rodriguez/Labaqui 8-3.  Davico is now 4-1 on the season in singles play and 5-1 overall in doubles.
